Worth every mile Sometimes you stumble onto a place that just stops you in your tracks. Lilla Vanilla is that place. My girlfriend declared her croissant the best almond croissant of her life — and she is not someone who makes that claim lightly. High bar, met without question. I went with a cream-stuffed croissant with peanut butter, and I'm still thinking about it. The cream filling was unbelievably light and perfectly whipped — not overly sweet, just the right texture. It's the kind of thing that makes you pause mid-bite. Absolutely exceptional. The pastry work here is clearly done with real skill and care. Everything looks beautiful, and more importantly, it tastes even better than it looks. This is not your average bakery. I would go back in a heartbeat. If you're anywhere near Hamilton Township, make the trip — you won't regret it.

For my birthday I had a beautiful cake made by the baker Shannon. I inquired about the cake online. We communicated back and forth online which was truly seamless. I was able to pay online and pick up the day of my birthday. The whole process was really relaxed and not stressful at all. The cake was exactly what I wanted. It tasted wonderful and truly exceeded my expectations. The cake was not dry at all which a lot of cakes can be. I enjoyed the cake so much I plan to continue to get more from here.

I was so excited to try this place after enjoying the fruit crunchy in Paris. These are the same as the ones in Paris, just much smaller. The raspberry crunchy by far is my favorite followed by the Apple and then the grapefruit (flower shape). The crunchies are small, but definitely worth trying at least once. The raspberry croissants are delicious. The only issue that I have is their customer service. Everybody seems irritated if you ask any questions, if you call. It’s almost like they just want you to come, get what you want and leave. They don’t want to answer questions it’s like you’re bothering them. It’s a shame I really wanted to order two dozen croissants ahead of time but no one seemed willing to help. Since I’ve been and I’m familiar with their products and don’t have any questions I’ll definitely go back.

My sister and I tried the viral crunchies on 3 separate occasions. They were okay, some better than others. I think they’re a tad overpriced for a ball of mousse. I wish they all had cake in them with the mousse. I also tried a cupcake and it was dry. The customer service was pleasant and quick even with a line. The place was clean and bright and definitely inviting. Overall, it was worth a try but just not my favorite.

I’ve been to Lilla Vanilla many times over the years so this review was a long time coming! Raspberry flavored items from LV are god tier. I literally go in and ask what they have left that’s raspberry flavored - never fails. If that’s your favorite flavor like mine, Raspberry Croissant, Raspberry Cruffin, and mostly recently the Raspberry Crunchy (picture included) are just the best. The Berry Flavored Croissant Roll is also great (the croissant roles are pretty cool and you can order online for pickup for those - they are really big by the way!) I have brought the GF Cupcakes for a birthday party in the past (birthday girl was GF) and she said they were great - she said they tasted like a traditional cupcake! I can’t remember what those fancy glassy looking cakes are called, but I bought one in the past for a holiday party (it was a beautiful pumpkin.) It was filled with chocolate mouse (or a very delicate and whipped type of cake in any case) it was a big hit at the thanksgiving party - people thought it was a table decoration LOL. Lastly, big fan of the Dubai chocolate bar - very fresh tasting ingredients! Follow the bakery on insta b/c they will sometimes announce available
